Patrick Voss: Hey, it's Patrick Voss here with VFXcreates.com, and we make creepy guys like this. This is Gnarly Charlie, can you say hi?
Gnarly Charlie: GET OVER HERE! [evil laugh]
Patrick Voss: I guess he can't. We also have Banshee Box, our Illusion boxes, we make lunging boxes, we make biohazard boxes, different things, and they're all on our website.
Philip Hernandez: Just tell us a little bit more about the specialty of making things for actors or for people to hold, to interact with.
Patrick Voss: My whole goal in starting the company was to make stuff that no one else has, be innovative, and make it lightweight, easy to use for actors, for haunts. We push all of our products that you can use these in your haunt, or in your attraction whatever it may be, and then use it to entertain your queue line, and also take our stuff out. Because it is portable, you can take it out anywhere, and promote, use our stuff to promote your attraction, your event, or whatever you have going on. They get a lot of attention, that's why they're great for promotion, and people love them.
Philip Hernandez: Tell me specifically about these, this friend here. So, the actor has the ability to control all of this as well, and then there's a sound box inside, right?
Patrick Voss: We have our own custom-made sound boxes, they are called Puppet Master Sound Systems. We also have the Minion FX System which does a lot more, there are videos we have on our website that explain all this stuff. There's a breakdown of the minion with the hacker kit that goes into all kinds of stuff. Each puppet comes with, like this one comes with a hoodie, there's a harness built in, and there are snaps. His hands actually have snaps on them built in, he just snaps right to you. His feet bungee around, and your hand goes right up inside of his head. We have a fake fist so that psychologically you see all of me and you're wondering how in the heck is this thing happening? He's not an animatronic, it's basically my hand is up inside of his head puppeteering his head. Basically, you've got a sound system down on his hip, I got four buttons on his leg down here so I can activate any of the sound clips I want, just like any of our puppets, and then you basically get to know what your sounds are, and you can mimic them and puppeteer from them.
Philip Hernandez: And can you explain the box for us as well?
Patrick Voss: This is by this guy, Doug Schaeffer. We call these Illusion Boxes. We have three different boxes, this is the illusion box. It appears to be empty. We have new designs we're working on for these too. We also have just a jack-in-the-box which is an enclosed box, you pull it open, and it has a severed clown head that jumps out at you, kind of lunges out about almost 3 1/2 feet, almost a foot and a half past this box. And we have the biohazard box that has a severed zombie head in it that you can see.
