Jon Cooke was involved in Entertainment Design at Knott’s Berry Farm and oversaw some of the most interactive mazes at Knott’s Scary Farm including Special Ops: Infected (2014-2016), Paranormal Inc (2015-2016), and ShadowLands (2016). In March 2018, Jon left Knotts to found the immersive-based attraction company, Black Market Escape Room.

Jon was joined by Ken Parks, Vice President for Entertainment at Knott's Berry Farm to present, “Balancing Immersion with Throughput.” They discussed this age-old challenge with examples of how they kept visitors immersed in the haunted world while moving them through the attraction efficiently.

The above keynote was given at the 2017 Haunted Attraction Symposium, the theme for which was ‘Innovation in Interactivity.’

The 2nd Annual Leadership Symposium is July 30th, 2018, aboard the historic and haunted Queen Mary in Long Beach, California.
