The history of Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail.
Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail opened two years ago, and is a story-based haunt. It deals with the backstory of the phantom figure Sir Henry who stalks the trail at night.

Why did you start Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail?
Like many haunters, Zach began because of his passion for Halloween; this passion eventually outgrew his yard and house!

Growth between years?
Zach has a background in business and advertising, which helped tremendously with the growth and production of the haunt. In their 1st year of opening, Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail broke even! zach has many plans to ensure this growth continues.

What would you suggest to someone trying to grow their haunt?
Stay up to date with what trends are evolving in the industry however you can: researching online, going to the trade shows, etc. Maintain a balance between the business and the haunt side.

What trends do you notice in the industry?
The rise of social media allows haunts to better capitalize on word of mouth. This field is shifting constantly though, which is why you need to keep track on how best to take advantage of it. Sir Henry’s Haunted Trail is currently on Facebook and Instagram as their main social platforms.
